hey all!
this is a general update on the things that have been going on..

1) class t-shirt
It is finally in the printers and shall be collected by SOME KIND SOUL on wednesday at sim lim square! =D everyone please bring $17 on MONDAY to pay for them. (btw we have to return 50% of the money to charvi's dad who paid it as deposit for us). we ordered 2 small (for mrs fong and diana), 14 mediums (girls + miss wong + matthew) and 8 large (the guys). some of the changes we have done are:
-black font on baby blue t-shirt. (due to the fact that ACCORDING TO THE PRINTERS, white lines will not be visible)
-the "property of 06ip05" on the t-shirt is on the bottom right hand corner inside of top right hand corner. (the right side refered to here is when you are facing the t-shirt. not when wearing)
all changes made without the consultation of the class is purely due to the good of the class t-shirt as well as the consultation of the printers. =D

2) mi test (40%) on monday 280806. topics tested on:
-deduction/induction
-conditionals [argument forms]
-categorical syllogisms
*need to know definitions very roughly
good luck and all the best!

3) la essay assignment (20%) on wednesday 300806. bring your essay outline and other materials. right after swimming so try to come up early. oh don't forget FOOD. XD

4) is1109 assignment menu. due on 300806 (?). REMEMBER! be creative..

5) 310806! remember to get your teacher's day gifts! XD you can write in notes to the teacher and put it in the library box to be passed to the teachers! =) more details on the class notice board! rmb to do the HOMEWORK matthew gave us! decorate it and make it as nice as possible! (= bring any nice decore things you have so that we can decorate the thing tmr.. i have ALREADY ordered the flowers! ;D

6) the SURPRISE! um we have to decide when we want it... on monday or on wednesday! i personally suggest wednesday! cause monday's kinda short notice.. and we need sometime to prepare.. and maybe we could do it during the usual boring CAAL...

7) please remember to pass down messages received through the class relay.. and last person remember to pass down the message to matthew! there is some problem cause matthew is not receiving replies from a few of the last people..

8) remember tuesday 290806 and friday 010906 are holidays! don't come to
school! suggestion: start mugging for the FINAL assessment week! XD lol

those of you that has no idea what is happening in this post, please scroll down and read the previous post.. ok basically i am putting up the list i got so far of animals for the class tee.. i need everything to be settled by today so that i can start drawing! one thing that probably wont change would be the fact that the teachers will be farmers (in SIA costume? lol!) so this is the FINAL list..

HELLO ALL!

ok it's me again about the same thing again... THE CLASS T-SHIRT. it has been overdue since FOREVER so it's time we put it into action.. i feel kinda bad and stupid after putting this after such an emotional post.. but hey.. think of it this way.. seeing this class tee after 4 years will bring back so much memories.. =D anyways.. ok basically i derived this idea from SOMEONE from whom we will have to take permission if we can use it.. therefore denise, i request that you let us use your idea for our class tee. IF not, we will have to either stick with our old pathetic one.. or YOU GUYS could be really helpful to help me come up with a new one! ;)

SO the basic idea is 06IP05 FARM.
SO each of us can be an ANIMAL.
Then at the back of the class-tee could be this picture of a farm with cute cute animals representing us in the barn.. Maybe two farmers to represent our teachers.. yah something like that... and the idea for the front was something like this:

"Property of 06ip05's farm"

it'll most likely be looking the same as before. like this:

yup.. just that the word farm will be added.. and if you want something below it like "no trespassing" "no foreign animals" or something, just let me know (tag or contact me).. i thought it'll be nice to keep the front simple and the back a bit more full sort of thing..

ok again i shall give you guys three options if you don't like this idea:

1. Improve on this by yourselves and send it to me.

2. Draw out your idea and give it to me on monday 210806 or before via email.

3. Deal with this idea.

i am sorry but i have to be kind of harsh in this cause if not we will never get this done especially by teacher's day. and the class tee colour is BABY BLUE WITH BLACK WORDS. yes it was a majority win vote. Everything is aimed to be completed by monday 210806 so that i can go and get it printed after school the same day.

Now i need everyone to give me the choice of animals they want to be or their friends (you choose for them!) to be! of course, they will have the final say! ;D any SMALL thing you want me to add like a catch line or whatever tag it or contact me again.. same goes for any other queries! by sunday 200806 2pm this thing closes sort of thing. (unless denise disagrees which i am sure she won't! =D)

why this blog so dead leh...?

i just wanted to say that this class has been doing well this term (academically) and we should keep it up (thats obvious)

its also good that the scholars are speaking better english

has anyone noticed that?

remember when they first came to singapore?

all they could say was 'throp nat dap kong' and stuff like that. look where they are now! 'they were many excess'... they were many excess! sure, not perfect english, but we should be proud of them. scholars, we are proud of you

another thing we should be proud of is that amongst all the classes, our classes is the only class that has a '5' in it!

one thing we will remember njc by when we are looking back together is that 05 is us, every individual. 05 is not guys + girls. it is not locals + scholars. it is not even locals - scholars or f(x) |--> locals^2 x cot(scholars) YEAH OKAY

05 is made of 22 individuals whose names i am too lazy to type out. just try to imagine them here:

its an amazing thing.

and lets not forget the teachers. now i have no idea how many teachers we have, or if we count the heahster or nahster.

we will remember them not by name and (thankfully) not by face. they must be remembered for who they were.

i dont know why im writing this, this feels like a graduation speech.
