i think we all did a very great job deco-ing the amphi yesterday, blowing balloons, tying ribbons, taping crepe streamers and all. so, THANKYOU EVERYONE! ;D and okay lah the guys too though they got stuck in the lt5. hahaha! yay 05! ;D thanks for helping to clean up SO QUICKLY aft everything, despite the damned rain. ;DD

well anw, here's another cip thingy for you guys. im feeling quite bored so i'll just post the whole chunk here. ;D

"ADOPT-A-CRANE PROJECT 2006" (second stage)
day: 220706 saturday & 230706 sunday
venue: outside wheelock place (nearest mrt: orchard mrt)
shift 1: 10.30am - 1.30pm
shift 2: 1.30pm - 4.30pm
shift 3: 4.30pm - 7.30pm
for: citibank-ymca children's cancer foundation
aim: for 5000 cranes to be adopted by the end of the fundraising project to raise $25000 for children suffering from cancer. these funds raised will be channeled to providing finincial assisstance for the children's cancer treatment, as well as to the sponsorhip of pediatric oncology research.

this event is unlike the conventional flag day cip. the public will be asked to pen personal msgs on the wings of the cranes that they adopt. these cranes with msgs converying the well wishes of the public will be passed on to the children suffering from cancer. the significance of the project is not only to raise funs doe ccf or to create awareness among the public. it also aims to channel care and cobcern from the community to help boost the morale of cancer striken kids. we hope to have you all working with us to make a differece in the lives of these children.

anybody can join, cip hours are awarded. volunteers who sign up for 2 or more shifts get our funraising tshirt as a token of apprecitaion for your keen support. anybody from all schs can join!!!
