okay hi people,
yeah i really should have done this MUCH earlier, but well, hehe, better late than never, ya? anyway, i assume that everybody has made plans for monday already, especially the boys (lol) so i thought, why not have it on the last day of school or something. i mean, how more better than to celebrate the end of a term?
okay the last time we went to the beach, which was pretty fun but for the absence of most of the boys and foreign scholars (all the local girls turned up, oh dont i love you guys). so now we're thinking about the easiest option available, totally fool-proof: a movie. over the hedge seems to be a popular choice. if not, what was our back-up plan the last time? bowling and ice-skating or something, right? how about that?
maybe our personal mentors will permit us to use gc lessons to plan our class outings and we can lead a more elaborate discussion then, furthermore ensuring that everybody knows of our plans.
this has been your rather irresponsible c.t. rep. in terms of planning class outings. excuse me.

06ip05, we totally rock!
we sold out all our brownies, they sold like hot cakes (haha chilled, though they are)! and mrs fong says that we have definitely profited about $750. is that a lot? sounds like good stuff to me.
anyway, no matter what the outcome, it was truly a class effort, and a job well done =) thanks for everything. and of course, to our customers, especially the super loyal ones *ahem*, haha.
give yourselves a pat on the back.

hey 05!
thanks so much for all the effort you guys put in today for the preparations for funtasia, it ws really cool. and we achieved so much, yay! (we should do things as One more often)
okay, anyway i passed down this message through the class relay system but im not sure whether this mode of communication really works. does it? could i have your feedback please, because for one, there are people who totally dont receive the messages. not to worry, though, because i'll usually end up posting it on the class blog, just in case. here's all the information you guys need for funtasia:
- report at 9am in the classroom. the classroom will be opened specially for us from 8.30-9.45am but i need you guys to come a bit earlier so that we can all set up stall and make some extra preparations if necessary
- please wear half-grey with the black stalia estrellas t-shirt
- we need a tablecloth, can anyone get it? sms me!
- just to let everyone know, the stamping of coupons is a job exclusively entitled to the accountant on duty
- ...which reminds me, bring whatever chops you have!
hmm, i think that's about it. okay well im signing off here. be in high spirits tomorrow! rock on 05.

good day, 05,
i've been pressed to post the mi assessment topics on the blog, so here i am before anything harmful could possibly happen to me. First up, the list of informal fallacies we ought to know:
- Appeal to pity
- Appeal to people
- Against person
- Accident
- Strawman
- Red Herring
- Appeal to unqualified authority
- Appeal to ignorance
- False cause
- Slippery slope
- Begging the question
- False dichotomy
- Equivocation
- Composition
Next, all the stuff we should know for the whole paper in general-
- Epistemology- refer to sources such as The Matrix and Plato's Cave
- Propositional Knowledge
- Justified, True, Belief
- Sources of Knowledge, such as Authority, Reason, Intuition, Sense Perception, Reason and Memory
- Scepticism/Doubt- what is their importance?
- Informal Fallacies
Okay and then there's this true and false component in the first part of the paper, if im not wrong, and for that we should read articles on the topics covered. i think. or something along those lines. whatever, just read all the articles u can get ur hands on. there.
hope everyone's content now. happy studying!
mind over matter...studying's fun!

hello everybody!
i would like to appeal to everyone to put in a bit more effort and be a bit more helpful in our fundraising efforts for funtasia, because it's always the same old people who have to either sacrifice their lunches, or have a disturbed lunch, to sell brownies and cheesecakes. and we all know who they are. so let's all commend them for their noble deeds and at the same time, take a bit more responsibility, because after all, this is for the class, and we are part of the class. (sounds like communism to me, hmm...)
anyway, apart from that, i have a couple of announcements to make. firstly, to reiterate my announcement this morning, if u would like shuttle-bus services from any given mrt station, that would be $1/trip. a school bus service directly from your house would be $110/month. now that it's on the class blog, if u would like to make use of these services, u could ask your parents or something (for the financing part).
also, a reminder that u can still place orders for tickets for the cldds concert. both order forms are due tomorrow, so be swift in the decision-making.
that's all folks =)
happy mugging. it's all worthwhile after all.

Hey everyone,
Since our blog has become quite well DEAD, I decided to post up the details of our upcoming plan for class outing! ((:
Who: 06ip05 + Mrs June Fong + Miss Sarah Wong (subject to availability)
What: Da Vinci Code the Movie (“OH MY GOODNESS!!! I SO WANNA WATCH!!!”- quoted from Diana Tyebally at approximately 2.15pm on May 8, 2006)
Where: Somewhere in town? Maybe Cineleisure?
When: 18 May 2006, after our IH1104 group assessment presentation which ends at 2.00pm.
Why: Class bonding session! AND of course to watch Da Vinci Code!
That’s about it! We have to figure out a place to watch and of course pre-order the tickets since Da Vinci Code is a much anticipated movie! And everyone PLEASE try to keep that day free! ((:
Let’s not forget our assessment week among all the excitement! Everyone start MUGGING! Take care of yourself and don’t overwork yourself! TRY and get enough of sleep and eat healthy!
Those who did not perform to their best the previous time, some famous great person said that
our greatest glory is not in never failing, but in rising up everytime we fail.
And those of you who performed well, keep up the good work and still study hard! Don’t keep it to last minute! Another famous great person said that
tomorrow is always the busiest day!
I shall end off by another quote by another famous great person-
A smooth sea never made a skillful sailor.
Haha hope you got inspired! keep rocking!
love,
sneha ((:
