how're we all feeling on this dismal rainy day? well good i hope. anyway, enough of that and straight to the point: i need people to represent aqua in the annual track and field meet 2006.
alright, just a little bit of propaganda; we all love aqua dont we? and aqua totally rocks, doesnt it, like that fantastic skit it put up for international friendship day (unlike a lot of other houses). however, aqua can only continue rocking on with the support of its fellow members, and come on people, that includes us.
so, let's all participate wholeheartedly and be proud to represent aqua, alright? with that, aqua might just rise to the very top, how lovely. okay down to the details, here they are:
- 100m run
- 200m run
- 400m run
- 800m run
- 1500m run
- 3000m run (ip girls)
- 5000m run (ip boys)
- high jump
- long jump
- triple jump
- javelin
- short put
- discus
- 4x100m
- 4x400m
- ip class relay (1.6km)
okay the last item on the list in bold is like super compulsary. there are only supposed to be 4 people in the team, with the restriction that there can only be 2 guys and 2 girls. it's gonna be 1.6km altogether, so dont start sweating already. for this event i already have alvyn and chris so i need 2 more girls.
for the inter-class relay, 4x100m, only a maximum of 2 boys are allowed. and for the 4x400m house relay, track and field members are not eligible. 4 runners and 2 reserves are needed but since it's a house relay, whoever wants to sign up just do so and i suppose sui hang will shortlist everyone.
finally, for the 100m and 200m runs i already have alvyn and chris. could some girls volunteer themselves please? and the track and field meet doesnt revolve around alvyn and chris so everybody else, please step up as well. (all the same, thank you to the two of you for being so enthusiastic).
alright just a final word, im kinda sick so im not sure whether i'll be present tomorrow. alvyn could u please make a second registration form just in case and hand it to sui hang in the morning at assembly on my behalf should i be absent?
