HEY CLASSMATES! TWO ANNOUNCEMENTS REGARDING CIP. ;D


1. COLLABORATION CIP WITH MENDAKI.
Mendaki mobile play
background information:
the mobile play serves as an entry point to get to the identified children of low income families. it is a strategy in reaching out to the families, who have not come forward for assisstance due to the stigma attached. the mobile play is usually held in a school area or viod decks. it consists of several game stations, which the children will have to go trhough. assessment components are included as part of the stations so that the students' level of reading literacy and mathematics profiency can be assessed. students who have difficulties with any of the assessment component will be referred to the relevant programmes/services provided by Mendaki or other agencies.

student volunteers are required to:
1. tend the various game stations.
2. come up with interesting educational games for the stations.

1ST SESSION - 180206, saturday, 10am-1.30pm, evergreen primary
2ND SESSION - 180306, saturday, 2pm-5pm, lakeside primary

note:
15 volunteers are required to man the station on 180206. for the second session on 180306, students are encouraged to come up with educational games for the game stations.



2. CIP AT ZHENGHUA PRIMARY SCHOOL
Zhenghua leadership camp
background information:
every year, students from NJC will help up with the leadership camp organised by Zhenghua Primary School. the aim of the camp is to help the students in Zhenghua Primary to attai leadership skills.

student volunteers are required to:
50 student volunteers are required and out of which, 10 students are required to form the exco. the exco team will be involved in the planning of the camp.

110306, saturday, 7am-10pm

note:
your role is to serve as facilitators during the camp and you are also welcome to play a part in organizing the camp if you want a more active participation.

estimated number of cip hours:
exco - 28h
others - 20h


ANWS, so yeah. i think we should do one of the above tgt as a class for cip. and i was thinking that we do the zhenghua leadership camp one, so that everyone in class would be able to join. both events can be claimed for cip hours! ;D so yeahh, decided and tell me by latest, 100206 FRIDAY. thankyous! ;D
